The Kydon Hotel is at an ideal location in the centre of Chania Town, on the square of the old market of Chania. It is 15km (9 miles) from the airport and 7km (4 ½ miles) from the port of Souda.

It is a historical hotel, a symbol of genuine Cretan hospitality. It is the first hotel built in the city in 1968 and the only A’ class hotel (4 star) up to the present day. The hotel operates all year round.


	The hotel’s name was inspired by mythical king Kydon, ruler of the ancient city of Kydonia (present day Chania), who was famous for his hospitality. Recently renovated, with all modern amenities, the Kydon Hotel offers a high standard of services and hospitality to its guests.
